As required by the New York Department of Motor Vehicles, those who want to get a license or renew their license must undergo and pass the vision test. Frontline Pharmacy and Surgical is approved by the DMV to provide vision examinations to determine whether or not your eyesight and peripheral vision meet the state and the department’s standards to safely operate and drive a motor vehicle. Each participant must have a visual acuity of at least 20/40 (based on the Snellen Visual Acuity Scale) in either or both eyes, with or without corrective lenses.
Test results are immediately entered into the DMV database for your convenience, so you can do your application and renewal of your license via email or phone call, as required or accepted by the department.
